Doel is a small town near the harbour of Antwerp and the nuclear plant. For many years there have been plans for the expansion of the docks. That is why the inhabitants of Doel have been evicted many years ago. But to this day, no constructions of the new plans have started. The town is mostly dessolate, apart from a few people who refuse to leave. 
This work tells the narrative of how a town will dissapear by the growth of the Antwerp petrochemical industry.
